Kim Hongbin (VANHADA)
Kim Hongbin’s exhibition, "Synesthetic Reverie," presents a synesthetic world that transcends the boundaries of color and sensation. In this exhibition, the artist expresses single-color pigments in three-dimensional forms, capturing depth and vibrancy that extend beyond the flat plane. Each color represents the artist, others, or the diverse individuals navigating the layered complexity of New York City, revealing the multifaceted nature of a person through color.
In his work, the paint is not merely flat but expresses the vibrant potential of color through dimensionality. This color transcends simple visual stimuli, arriving as a synesthetic reverie that invites viewers to reencounter the varied identities of individuals and the world.
"Synesthetic Reverie" offers visitors an immersive experience, exploring self, others, and urban life through color and form. We invite you to Something Sweet Gallery Cafe to encounter a new realm of art that transcends the boundaries of perception and being.
